Who didn’t love Cheers, the iconic television series from the 80’s?

Today I walked into my new favorite store, BikeSource in Littleton, Colorado.  I purchased a road bike there a few weeks ago and as soon as I walked in today, I was greeted by four people who remembered me by name from a transaction 3 weeks ago.

Even my 10 year old son mentioned as we left the store, “Oh my gosh, it’s like you’re friends with these people!”

These people made me feel so special and valued as a customer that they have created massive loyalty from me.

Can your customers say the same thing about your business?

This is critically important today that you ensure every customer has a 5-star experience from you and your employees because that’s exactly what’s at stake for your business.

Ratings & Reviews are so powerful for your business because consumers what to know that the business they hand their money over to are worthy. People you may or may not know are talking about your business.  They’re doing it socially and now they’re also doing it online.

They’re telling their friends and family on Facebook, Google+, Yelp, Merchant Circle and any place else where people can share information to improve lives.

Your job is to know what is being said about you and to manage your reputation.

Take time to get to know your customers.  Welcome them and make them happy they spent money with you. Thank them for their business and ASK them to support your work by posting a review.
